The Harbour City
April 10, 2018
the programme of replanning infrastructure in Harbour City had finished. With the new enforcement of the policy, street lamps have been eliminated in the urban area. Residents have been starting to use a special kind of umbrella and night vision devices for night activities. The usage of light indoors in both residential and commercial areas has also been controlled at a restrictive level. The street lamps and air defence alarms are moved to the seashore in order to prevent baby sea turtles' misdirection towards the city and whales stranding due to the light and sound pollution.
The residents in Harbour City will confront the challenge of experiencing disturbance and interruption in their everyday life such as darkness and noises from the alarms, whereas, in the past, this was exactly how nature beings were disturbed and interrupted by the human being.
